Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Receives British Ambassador to Iraq

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mr. Fuad Hussein received the British Ambassador to Iraq Mr. Irfan Siddiq, on Sunday, 20 July 2025.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, in addition to reviewing the Minister’s upcoming visit to the British capital, London.

As well as they addressed the latest domestic developments, particularly the recent attacks targeting oil fields in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The discussions included the relations between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, with both parties welcoming the positive steps taken toward resolving differences.
